Supporting Women Owned Business: Sandy Hutchison, CEO Career Money Life

Femeconomy’s Supporting Women Owned Business mini-blog series is intended to amplify how women led and women owned businesses are supporting each other, and to encourage more businesses to include women led and women owned businesses in their purchasing decisions.

Career Money Life builds unique, personalised and fulfilling career experiences with an all-in-one platform for employee career management.  From Career Transition, Parental Leave, Coaching to EAP counselling our platform enables employees to select services that best suit them, at every stage of their career.

Which women owned and women led businesses do you buy from?

As a marketplace for employee services, we have over 500 service providers in our community and I am proud to say that 68% are women-owned micro, small and medium-sized businesses. These include Career Coaches, Psychologists, Financial Advisors, Yoga and Mindfulness teachers, Dieticians, Executive Coaches, and Resume and LinkedIn profile writers to name a few.

Using our collective strength and the Career Money Life platform we are able to provide services to leading Australian businesses including Virgin. Our model means small business are able to deliver their service to the employees of large corporates, without them having to struggle through complex procurement processes and the corporate need for scale, while delivering an outstanding and cost-effective service.

Who are your customers?

Our client base is largely medium to large leading organisations that are offering EAP to their teams or going through change and want to offer Career Transition services. Our client contacts are mostly within the Human Resources (HR) function, are innovative thinkers, and care about providing a unique employee experience to their people.

Working with Career Money Life is a great way for large corporates to ensure diversity and women-owned businesses are represented in their supply chain.

You are the female economy. Whether you are a female consumer, business owner or a woman in the workforce, you can create gender equality by choosing female led brands.
