Supporting Women Owned Business: Kate Pearce

Femeconomy’s Supporting Women Owned Business mini-blog series is intended to amplify how women led and women owned businesses are supporting each other, and to encourage more businesses to include women led and women owned businesses in their purchasing decisions.

Personified supports our clients to lead more effectively through evidence-based coaching.

Which women owned and women led businesses do you buy from?

Femeconomy inspired me to consider ‘the power of my purse’ and as a business owner I am fiercely deliberate about where my dollars are directed each year.

Some of the women owned and women led businesses that I buy from include:

Rachel Collis – my Executive Coach, Beth Winkle from Plannery Co – a dear friend and a highly skilled Town Planner, Susan Milicevic from Aspire Consulting for my Accounting and Jo McKenzie from Call on Jo to keep my lax behaviour towards administration in check.

In addition to considered purchasing, I also proactively look for opportunities to connect others. It brings me great joy to surprise someone with an unexpected introduction or referral.

Who are your customers?

As an International coaching firm, we work with leaders across many different industries and locations so our customers are always very different. What I would say they share in common, however, is an openness to learn more about themselves because they genuinely care about being an effective leader.
