Supporting Women Owned Business: Amanda Williams

Femeconomy’s Supporting Women Owned Business mini-blog series is intended to amplify how women led and women owned businesses are supporting each other, and to encourage more businesses to include women led and women owned businesses in their purchasing decisions.

The Yellow Panda Agency is a boutique PR + communications consultancy that specialises in building authentic public profiles for trailblazing entrepreneurs and CEOs across the country, making sure their real world achievements match their online footprints.

Which women owned and women led businesses do you buy from?

Some of my closest friends are women at the helm of a business, and I love to support them and witness them achieve their goals. I buy most of my special event outfits from Eliya the Label and I go to Beyond Beauty International for my beauty services. I also purchase books written by inspirational female authors – showing support for their work and their contribution to serving others.

Who are your customers?

People hear PR and immediately think Samantha from Sex in the City. However, at Yellowpanda Agency, we represent business leaders rather than organising extravagant parties. But don’t be fooled – we still have loads of fun when the team comes together!

We take care of a wide variety of entrepreneurs, from the manufacturing industry right to the beauty and education industry. This makes work interesting for us, there’s never a dull moment – plus we never shy away from a challenge.

You are the female economy. Whether you are a female consumer, business owner or a woman in the workforce, you can create gender equality by choosing female led brands.
