A Little Pampering Ritual

Things can feel a bit rushed and even when we are doing what we love, we use energy. Restorative rituals that allow you to slow down, reflect on what is important can help with renewal. A good night’s sleep, a walk in the park, sometime in the garden and of course a little bit of time to pamper yourself! Here is a little pampering ritual that can feel indulgent and only requires a few minutes.

Dry Skin Brushing

You have probably heard about dry skin brushing and the benefits of naturally exfoliating our skin.  Use a natural Jute Brush to gently massage your décolletage, neck and face in circular motions. This boosts circulation, giving our skin a healthy glow and clears it to absorb nutrients. Ideally, you can find time to brush your skin before your morning shower. Try A Wicked Scrub’s Facebrush.

Spritz Witch Hazel

On clean skin, spritz some Witch Hazel. Witch Hazel is a wonderful natural astringent that will soothe and tone skin. It has powerful antioxidants that boost the health of our skin. A Wicked Scrub’s Witch Hazel Organic 100ml will do the trick.

Skin Drink

Then, enjoy the aroma of pure essential oils from the facial oil – I have named it “Skin Drink”! It is a potent botanical blend that helps firm skin, promoting hydration, elasticity and skin regeneration.

Create Your Sanctuary

Perhaps sing a song or play your favourite music as you create a little sanctuary for yourself.  You may just be surprised at how restorative a little bit of me time can be!

About A Wicked Scrub

Gauri A Wicked Scrub

A Wicked Scrub is a small natural skin care business that is invested in making it absolutely easy for people to pamper themselves and the ones they love.

Started by Gauri, who loves pampering, she continues to make Artisan Soaps, Natural Skin Care & Gorgeous Hampers by hand. It is a high touch business that has grown organically with customers who are well informed and care about what goes on their skin. Gifting is a huge and important part of the business. Their logo represents the Fibonacci Spiral – a symbol of the inner beauty that is in us and surrounds us.
