How can workplaces support people’s health and wellbeing?

Workplaces have an opportunity to create an enabling environment where people can be open and vulnerable about their health and wellbeing needs that are going to serve them best. Gone are the days where health and wellbeing is a tick and flick strategy. Today workplaces have become “that environment” which affords the opportunity to humanise work and life. Workplaces need to adopt an integrative approach that supports the individual needs, the team dynamics and the overall company strategy.

What are your top tips for women’s health?

The greatest tip is to tune into your whole health. The foundation that underpins our work is our five pillar framework which focuses on supporting individuals around five key pillars – the self, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Based on what it takes us “humans” to thrive in life, building our internal tool kit from nutrition, movement, relationships, purpose, values, learning and much more can support our health today and in the future.

How do whole health lifestyle strategies benefit perimenopausal and menopausal women?

A whole health approach to menopause is the cornerstone to transitioning well. Menopause creates physical and physiological changes in women. Sadly a lot of women are disconnected from their bodies and enter this phase of life with poor lifestyle health. By applying a whole health approach (as early as
possible), women can identify deficits in the areas that need support and start to create the healthy lifestyle habits that will serve them.
