Femeconomy Collaboration: Sharley Consulting & Hearsay

Purchasing from women owned and women led businesses advances women’s economic security, women in leadership, women’s workforce participation and employment, and gender equality. Femeconomy would love to see more women owned and women led businesses trading with each other. Emma Sharley Managing Director Sharley Consulting and Pip Stocks CEO Hearsay recently collaborated on a brand research project across Australia and the US.

TELL US HOW YOUR BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP EVOLVED

ES:

Sharley Consulting‘s brand strategy always involves some form of brand research work, and I was seeking a more streamlined way of conducting conversations with our clients’ customers, employees, and stakeholders. A process that both saved time and allowed us to identify and group insights more efficiently across cohorts and regions. I was introduced to Pip (and Hearsay) by Alanna from Femeconomy, and a few months after we used Hearsay for a client project.

PS:

The team at Femeconomy recommended Hearsay to Sharley Consulting and we ran Emma through the Hearsay platform.  A few months later she reached out go live with her first project.

We created Hearsay so companies of all sizes could collect and analyse their own customer interview feedback cheaply, quickly (and therefore more frequently) and convert it in real time into market insight and business decision making.

Emma reached out as she was working on a project with a client that needed customer research findings to inform a strategic recommendation. She and her team used Hearsay to interview customers in Australia and the US.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE IMPACT OF THE RELATIONSHIP ON YOUR BUSINESS?

ES:

Using Hearsay has made the process of collecting customer insights and learnings much simpler. The conversations are produced into customer narratives that sit within the strategy as an audio element. It allows us to go beyond the written and visual, and our clients can immediately see how the strategy would resonate with customers in each of the markets.

PS:

Emma and Sharley Consulting‘s team have been great and active users of Hearsay . It was a great tool for them to use and made their project super easy to run. It will be included as part of their ongoing process when running one to one customer interviews.
