Farm to Hanger is an entirely female owned and operated business producing sustainable, slow fashion garments in a variety of styles, perfect for the fashion and environmentally conscious among us.
We have a big focus on traceability and remain very conscious about what goes into our products.
This isn’t a common practice across the majority of fashion brands prompting the question, do you know here your garments have come from? Our brand is 100% Australian made, we source non organic cotton in Queensland, cut, sew and produce the garments in Sydney and our textile waste goes to Victoria for recycling. Our goal is to be Australia’s most sustainable brand.
The latest release is the new line of Comfy Cami’s and Comfy Knicker sets.
These products are versatile, long lasting, cool and comfortable. A personal favourite, ideal for everyday – casual, workwear and even sleepwear. Currently available in black and white, with new colour releases coming soon. In sizes 8-16.
This new line joins the previous releases of classic, v-neck and sporty v-neck t-shirts, available for both men and women.
Due to the classic style, they will still be fashionable in years to come which is an element we are really passionate about. These are slim fit, breathable and durable. All products are available in black, white and natural and sizes 8-16/s-xxl. We have even branched out into homewares and are looking to expand on this product line over the coming months.
We are giving back by planting a tree with Greenfleet as part of their biodiverse carbon offset programme, for every item we make.
They are a non-profit organisation with the aim of restoring our forests and supporting the environment. This is also taking us one step closer to offsetting our carbon footprint, currently Farm to Hanger holds carbon credit meaning we offset more than we produce.
Farm To Hanger also utilises waste materials based on whether they can be reused, repurposed or recycled.
Fabric seams are used to make dog toys for a local charity, scraps are put forward towards new products and any leftovers are sent for recycling. We use reconditioned sewing machines. Plant a tree for every garment. Recycle and reuse waste materials, including zero plastic packaging. Farm to Hanger is dedicated to running sustainably, starting at the farm to your hanger and back again.
